Welcome to Eva Josse

Eva Josse began her PhD studies at ETH-Zürich in January 2022 as part of the Future Health Technologies (FHT) laboratory, located at the Singapore-ETH Centre (SEC). Her research focuses on the development, validation, and clinical application of digital health technologies and biomarkers for the assessment of upper limb sensorimotor impairments post-stroke.

She is particularly interested in implementing predictive models to improve prognosis estimates in rehabilitation and to support personalized therapy.

Originally from France, Eva received her BSc (2018) in Physics and her Msc in Applied Physics (2020) from the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland.
During her master, she developed an interest for artificial intelligence. For instance, she used deep learning to classify images of galaxies according to their morphologies. Afterwards, she did an internship at the RELab to predict rehabilitation outcomes in multiple sclerosis with machine learning. Since then, she decided to focus on the field of rehabilitation and robotics.
