Optohive AG was incorporated in May 2025 as a spin-off from the Rehabilitation Engineering Lab at ETH Zurich. The company develops a next-generation wearable brain imaging platform based on high-resolution fNIRS (functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy) technology, enabling objective and accessible brain monitoring for both clinical and non-medical applications. Optohive was founded by Dr. Dominik Wyser, Prof. Roger Gassert, Dr. Matteo Pavan, Marc Willhaus, and Michael Wyser, who joined forces to translate cutting-edge neurotechnology into impactful real-world solutions.
