Summer School “Towards a Continuum of Technology-assisted Therapy”

Another fantastic edition of our Summer School “Towards a Continuum of Technology-assisted Therapy” organised by the Clinica Hildebrand Centro di riabilitazione Brissago and RELab ETH Zürich in beautiful and hot Brissago!

We had inspiring lectures from Margit Alt Murphy, Joachim Hermsdörfer, Catherine Lang, Veronica Cimolin, Florian Haufe, Meret Branscheidt, Roger Gassert, and Olivier Lambercy on the topics of wearable and camera-based assessments in the clinic and at home, and on how to integrate these technologies into clinical routine. This was nicely complemented by lectures from Daria Dinacci and Gabriele Margaroli on cognitive aspects in neurorehabilitation, and a hands-on workshop on neurocognitive therapy by Antonella Califfi.

As always, a highlight were the case studies in which patients and therapists from the Clinica Hildebrand Centro di riabilitazione Brissago shared their experience and worked together with our students to develop a technology concept answering the needs of neurological patients. Congratulations to everyone for the engaging discussions during the week and the creative solutions that were proposed!

An immense thank you to Giada Devittori for leading this event so perfectly, to Laura Mayrhuber and Clément Lhoste for their help in the organisation, as well as Paolo Rossi, Daria Dinacci, Antonella Califfi, Viktoria Cvetkova, Luca Tonolla, isabella Antonini, andreia silva, Sandro Foiada, the therapists Aline Malquarti, Joel Consonni, Angelica Piezzi, Anja Müller Kropp, Manuel Amasi, Letizia Narducci, Fiona Eichenberger and the entire team of the Clinica Hildebrand Centro di riabilitazione Brissago for their support in making this event possible.
