Virtual event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of foundation Access for all

Celebrating twenty years of eAccessibility, the Swiss Foundation Access for all hosted an accessible virtual event to discuss challenges and solutions for making informtion technology more accessible.

The Swiss foundation Access-for-all celebrated its 20th anniversary in a virtual event including a podium discussion on making large online events accessible, musical performances by Daniele Corciulo, an inspiring speech by ETH rector Prof. Sarah Springman as well as a look back on the last 20 years and forward into the future by the foundation board members Prof. Helmut Krueger and Prof. Roger Gassert. To recognize the tremendous efforts of René Jaun and Markus Riesch to make technology and especially the web accessible to all, they were awarded with the Accessibility Ambassador. The event was captioned and translated to sign language to make it as accessible as possible. We thank Access for all for their important contributions to making technology more accessible for everyone. It was a great pleasure hosting you in the lab for the celebration event!
