Mike Rinderknecht awarded ETH medal for outstanding PhD thesis. We congratulate Mike Rinderknecht on being awarded an ETH medal for his outstanding PhD thesis titled "Robotic assessment of somatosensory hand function”!  

Alexis E. Block is currently a doctoral fellow in the Center for Learning Systems, a joint program between the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and ETH Zurich. She is supervised by Otmar Hilliges (ETH), Roger Gassert (ETH), and Katherine Kuchenbecker (MPI).        

Over the past decade, we have been working on developing and applying engineering tools to explore, assess and restore sensorimotor function in people with disabilities in close collaboration with our academic, clinical and industrial partners. We would like to share our successes with you in the form of an Open House. You will have a chance to see our developments, try out our demos, and meet those who have contributed to our achievements.
