Michel Akselrod receives the NCCBI Young Researcher Award
Michel Akselrod receives the NCCBI Young Researcher Award for his presentation and poster entitled "Neural correlates of sensory-motor illusions induced by visuo-proprioceptive and visuo-motor signals". Congratulations!
Engineering Week at the ETH Zurich
During the Engineering Week, high school students from “Kantonsschule am Burggraben St. Gallen” designed, programmed and evaluated an injection simulator for spinal anesthesia. Spinal anesthesia is challenging in clinic, and hard to practice for medical students. In order to provide better practice facilities, the students developed a new solution which simulates the insertion of the needle for spinal anesthesia on a model.
