Giada Devittori
Giada Devittori started her position as Scientific Coordinator in August 2024. She is involved in the planning, coordination, and performance of the clinical trials evaluating the RELab technologies, and she is one of the contact points for the clinical partners.
Giada was born in 1994 in Aquila (Ticino), and she studied at the ETH Zurich, receiving her Bachelor of Science ETH in Health Sciences and Technology in 2017 and her Master of Science ETH in Health Sciences and Technology – Medical Technology in 2019. In 2024, she completed her doctoral degree at RELab.
During her Master's studies, she was part of projects involving upper limb and lower limb exoskeletons and worked as a sport therapist. During her doctoral studies, Giada developed and clinically evaluated a robotic device for upper limb therapy after neurological injury. She especially focused on adapting it to make it suitable for unsupervised use by stroke patients at the clinic and at their homes.
