Werner Popp
Werner Popp received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Human Movement Science (with a focus on exercise physiology) from the ETH Zurich in 2010 and 2012, respectively. During his Masters studies, he carried out research in the field of robotics and ergonomics. After finishing his Master, he worked as a research assistant at the Rehabilitation Engineering Lab and at the Centre for Organizational and Occupational Health Sciences (both at ETH Zurich) where he was involved in a number of different projects focusing on sensorimotor learning, electromyography and ergonomics. In August 2012, Werner started his PhD studies at the Rehabilitation Engineering Lab, in collaboration with the Spinal Cord Injury Research Lab at Balgrist University Hospital. His research interests lie in the fields of machine learning, sensorimotor learning, and long-term activity monitoring.
