Auralius Oberman Manurung

Auralius was born in North Sumatra, Indonesia in 1986. He received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Indonesia in Depok in July 2007. He continued his studies in Mechanical Engineering at the Gyeongsang National University, South Korea and graduated with a Master in Engineering in February 2011. During his master studies, he did research on control algorithms for a gait rehabilitation robot.

Auralius joined the Rehabilitation Engineering Lab in September 2011 to pursue a PhD degree. He is working on the EU project I-SUR on intelligent surgical robotics, in the context of which the Rehabilitation Engineering Lab will develop a surgical robotic platform and control algorithms.
