Abigail Vogel

Abigail Vogel first joined RELab in September 2023 for her Master’s thesis, where she designed and tested taVNS electrodes as part of the SmartVNS project. Today, she works as a mechanical engineer, contributing to the hardware development of the SmartVNS system, including the design, prototyping, testing of the different components.

Originally from Valais, Switzerland, Abigail completed her Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at EPFL before pursuing a second Bachelor's degree in Architecture at ETH Zurich. She then returned to Mechanical Engineering, with a growing interest in medical technologies, and earned her Master’s degree from ETH Zürich.
