Summer School 2021 in a hybrid format
We had a great time co-organizing the Summer School “Towards a Continuum of Robot-Assisted Therapy” last week. This year in a hybrid format, with some speakers joining us online. There were many interesting lectures, poster presentations, as well as workshops, during which students were designing a personalized technological solution for neurorehabilitation.
It was inspiring to see engineers, life scientists, physiotherapists, medical doctors and our target users – neurological patients, working together to create meaningful technologies. We hope to build up on many ideas that we saw last week and bring the progress in rehabilitation engineering forward! Thank you very much to Clinica Hildebrand for hosting us and for your support during the event!
We are also very grateful to all that gave lectures and supported the workshops – Silvestro Micera, Ilse Lamers, Joachim Hermsdörfer, Daria Dinacci, Joachim Liepert, Raffaele Ranzani, Gerdienke Prange-Lasonder, Maura Casadio and David Reinkensmeyer. Finally, thank you to the organizers from ETH Zurich and EPFL – Giada Devittori, Monika Zbytniewska-Mégret, Arzu Güneysu Özgür and Tristan Barjavel. We are already looking forward to next editions of the Summer School!
